Accounting and Administrative Specialist

The Accounting and Administrative Specialist is a full-time, salaried position at IN Tradeshows & Events, reporting to the Accounting Manager. In addition to Accounting, there will be general office responsibilities. Responsibilities include:


  • Data Entry into Quickbooks and Excel
  • Job Costing
  • Accounts Payable 
  • Manage Bank feeds for Bank/Amex
  • File job folders and manage record keeping 
  • In-house print shop purchasing, billing, inventory
  • Backup Accounting Manager and cross train as position grows

Sales & Miscellaneous Office Tasks

  • Create job folders 
  • Assist with promotional items – unboxing, sorting, storage, etc.
  • Assist with setting up and packing customer promo orders 
  • Order and maintain office supplies
  • Create shipping lists 
  • Filing
  • Other misc. tasks as needed

A computer, desk and printer access will be provided


  • all MS Office programs, especially proficient in Excel and Word
  • QuickBooks
  • Familiarity with Access a plus
  • General Accounting knowledge
  • Flexibility to change roles to take charge of tasks 
  • Backup in different areas of the business as needed
  • Proficient with Outlook and Google Office applications, including Docs and Sheets
  • Ability to meet task deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment as well as work independently
